Be Their Voice

Hi! I had first started reading about the horrors of abortion in 8th grade, when I had chosen that topic for my research project. From a very young age my eyes were opened to the detriment that abortions caused for both mother and baby. From the moment I wrote that research paper I had the three stages of abortion ingrained in my mind. The pill, the suction method, the dismemberment. These steps that were taken to end a life while simultaneously putting a mother through life long trauma, were completely evil, inhumane, and unjust. As a first time mother, I know the amount of joy I had felt seeing my baby on the ultrasound machine and I would like to do what I can for other mothers regardless of their circumstances to be able to experience that as well. They are so much more than a clump of cells. ”For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.“
