“I’ve been abandoned . . . I can’t do this alone.”
Day after day, women who are considering abortion say things like this. I’m not talking about the rabid, “Shout your abortion” activists I debate on college campuses; I’m talking about the woman who comes to one of the pro-life pregnancy Clinics that PreBorn! supports across the United States. She’s frightened. . . often being pressured by the father of the baby or by her parents to abort. And for all the talk we hear about “reproductive freedom” from the so-called “pro-choice” crowd, she believes she doesn’t have any choice other than to destroy her own child.
A recent study conducted by the Charlotte Lozier Institute revealed that only 33% of the 1,000 women in the study wanted to have an abortion; a full 60% said they would have chosen life “if they had received either more emotional support or had more financial security.”
I’ve talked to these women, and I’ve listened to accounts from those whom God has put in place to minister to them. The testimonies are heartbreaking. The soul-scarred admissions . . .
“I’m so ashamed.”
“My life wasn’t supposed to go this way.”
“I don’t feel like there’s any hope.”
And sometimes, through choked sobs, comes the dark question: “Am I going to go to hell for this?”
One young woman who had undergone three abortions and was planning to schedule their fourth, told a PreBorn! nurse, “God sent me to you to tell me that I’m not alone.” She chose life for her baby, and, by God’s grace, her life is now on a totally different trajectory.

I will admit that if it wasn’t for PreBorn!, I would be deeply discouraged, because I have never seen a more disjointed time in the pro-life movement. In far too many cases, there seems to be no direction, and too many people are shying away from the issue altogether for fear of losing friends or votes or donors.
I’ll be direct: This is not the time for us to retreat on the issue of life! Roe v. Wade has been overturned, but the harsh truth is that the number of abortions in the United States has increased since the fall of Roe, reaching a horrific death toll not seen since 2012. A big driver for this ghastly increase in the number of babies being destroyed is chemical abortion, which now accounts for at least 63% of all abortions in America.
PreBorn! is leading the charge for life. This ministry is unlike any in the pro-life space. PreBorn! is getting it done in ways that are real, proven, and highly effective. They are helping women escape the Planned Parenthood butchers to receive the care they need—before and after their babies are born.
This is one of the noblest things that you and I can support.
There should NOT be a single woman who goes online searching for an abortion and only finds Planned Parenthood. PreBorn! is building a network that greets every woman with mercy and love and compassion—a network that explains all the resources available to her and introduces her to the Author of life: Jesus Christ. The more I interact with Dan Steiner and his team, the more amazed and inspired I am.
Somebody once asked me, “How would you summarize the Bible in just a few words?” Many Christians would promptly cite John 3:16 (NKJV): “For God so loved the world . . .” but my mind went to John 10:10 (NKJV): “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
PreBorn! is reaching more and more women who have lost all hope and telling them about the abundant life that Jesus Christ offers to them and to their babies.
These women are not alone. They have PreBorn! I am proud to stand with them . . . and with you.
