If you thought you’ve seen and heard it all when it comes to the lengths pro-choice groups will go to push their murderous agenda … you may want to hold on to your seat.

In the wide-swing effort to enlarge the reach and acceptance of their pro-abortion objective, pro-choice groups are now touting that the pro-life movement is catastrophic and a direct cause of the decline of climate change.

Not only have they declared the pro-life stance as the direct propellant to global warming, but they’ve also coined the “perfect” solution to the “problem.”

If you guessed their solution is to utilize abortion as population control – you’re right.

This article will outline what climate change is, how climate change is connected to the pro-choice agenda, Planned Parenthood’s role in climate change, climate change and Christianity, and how to combat the pro-choice climate change agenda.

What Is Climate Change?

According to National Geographic, climate refers to the seasonal temperature, rainfall averages, wind patterns, and weather patterns a particular area is prone to experience each season.

Climate change occurs when the temperature and weather patterns in a particular area change over a long period.

What exactly is the problem with these changing patterns?

The problems thought to come along with climate change vary greatly. An unpredictable climate can make it difficult to grow and maintain crops and predict the weather. It’s also been thought to play a role in more frequent and intense weather occurrences, such as hurricanes, floods, and winter storms.

Climate change isn’t a new phenomenon. National Geographic shares that climate has continually changed throughout the entirety of the Earth’s history.

Climate change occurs when the Earth’s atmosphere traps heat from the sun’s rays, causing the Earth’s average temperature to rise. This rise in the planet’s temperature is what many have heard coined as global warming. It is this warming that is thought to impact climate change.

How Is Climate Change Connected to the Pro-Choice Agenda?

So, why is it that pro-choice groups are leaning so heavily into climate change as a vehicle of movement for abortion? And, how exactly are they doing it?

First and foremost, fear is a powerful emotion.

Pro-choice groups are jumping at the opportunity to use any avenue in which fear can be incited as a way to paint their murderous agenda as one that “serves” humanity.

Of course, planting seeds of fear in people by making them believe that they are in the direct path of climate hazards, undrinkable water, homelessness, and unlivable heat conditions, is just a simple strategy for their overall goal – to promote and justify abortion.

The idea being maneuvered in this agenda is that human activity centered around burning fossil fuels, natural gas, oil, and coal is detrimentally speeding up the process of climate change. Therefore, the only way to slow it down is to control the “root cause,” which they declare, is humanity.

In other words, the solution to climate change, being indirectly declared, is population control …abortion.

Though it may be hard to wrap your minds around, we now live in a time where pro-choice groups are labeling abortion as an environmental justice issue.

And, it doesn’t stop there. These same pro-choice groups go as far as to declare that restricting abortion disproportionately impacts minority and low-income environments and that climate-induced natural disasters are gender biased.

“The human right to control your body, the right to live in environments that enable people to live healthy lives and, should they choose, the right to have (or choose not to have) and care for children is central to the mission and interest of the entire environmental community,” Khalil Shahyd wrote in an article published in the NRDC.

Though human interest appears to be at the core of the writer’s argument, it’s safe to say that the “right to live in environments that enable people to live healthy lives.” A portion of this statement does not apply to the 626,000 babies aborted in 2021 alone.

President Ronald Reagan may have said it best when he shared these words of wisdom. “We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life ‘the unborn’ without diminishing the value of all human life.”

Planned Parenthood on Climate Change

Planned Parenthood directly spearheads the climate change – population control mission with the International Planned Parenthood Federation. Their website emphasizes climate change as a crisis and how “sexual and reproductive health rights” are an “overlooked aspect” when it comes to the topic.

“There is no doubt that the climate crisis is one of the key challenges of our time – our planet is in a state of emergency and the time for action is now,” the IPPF website says.

Under the guise of humanitarian efforts, IPPF is aligning with the most “marginalized and under-served communities” in the fight against climate change and “environmental injustice.”

Climate Change and Christianity

There’s a great deal of debate when it comes to climate change, as well as ethical discussions surrounding the issue.

Dr. Brent Waters, a Stead Professor of Christian Social Ethics and Director of the Stead Center for Ethics and Values at Garrett Evangelical Seminary in Evanston, Illinois, shared his thoughts on the topic with Think Biblically

“Well, having grown up in Southern California, it is a real thing (climate change.) And I think there’s no reason to deny that both probably, over time, climate does change. And it changes whether humans are here or not,” Waters said. “Now, whether the technologies that we’ve introduced are going to exacerbate changes that are going to be deleterious, I think that’s the dispute. And how do you respond to them? So I think you have to take it seriously, of saying, ‘Okay, if the world’s going to be experiencing some kinds of climate changes, then what are appropriate responses to it?’”

There are numerous strategies to address climate change; however, pro-choice groups have placed a magnifying glass on reducing the population via the route of sexual health access, aka, abortion.

Waters makes a prolific statement when it comes to population control as a means of combating climate change.

“I remember one day in class, a student pushing for exactly this issue, and I said, ‘Well, you’re going to have to help me out here. How many people ideally can the world sustain?’”  Waters said. “The answer is somewhere around a half a billion. And I said, ‘You only say we have about 20 or 30 years left to make that decision.’ So I said, ‘So who are the six or seven billion people going to be killed and who’s going to decide that?’ And I said ‘Don’t look shocked. If you’re going to will the ends, then you must will the means.’”

Waters’ comment to his student was made to point out a very important fact left unsaid in the pro-choice argument. If we allow pro-choice movements to combat climate change with one level of population control, such as abortion, then the next step would illude to a vast genocide all in the “name of the greater good.”

Waters continued his interview by sharing his perspective on climate change as a Christian.

“My hope is that what is most distinctly Christian is that I’m trying to avoid what I would call environmental idolatry. That the creation is a good work of God, but is not God, that only God is sacred and the earth is not sacred. The earth, rather, has been entrusted to our care, and therefore, we treat it with respect, but we don’t turn it into an idol,”  Waters shared. “Because when you turn it into an idol, you come up with some rather preposterous ideas like human beings are the cancer of the universe and they need to be eradicated. I’m not sure what value of that teaching is, except that it’s kind of a self-loathing, a self-hatred. And ultimately, we know that idolatry destroys people. And when you turn the natural environment into an idol, I don’t think you can be good stewards of it because you begin to worship it rather than care for it.”

How to Combat the Climate Control Abortion Agenda

It’s important to be aware of the true, underlying agenda at hand when it comes to pro-choice groups declaring climate control humanitarian efforts. Their goal is to incite fear and send people into a state of alarm so they begin to lean toward abortion as a means of population control.

When we stand in a place of awareness, we can take important next steps in combating this sneaky and deadly objective.

Conclusion

Instead of seeking to snuff out the population, we should seek ways to align ourselves with God’s Word.

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth,” Genesis 1:28 (NKJV).

We live in a time where the voice shouting the loudest says that death is the way. But, our Lord and Savior says He is the way and He has come to give LIFE!

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 (NKJV).

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 (NKJV).

Finally, we can align our prayers, volunteer work, and financial stewardship with organizations like PreBorn! which strive daily to save babies and souls.
